    !!!ATTENTION ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS WITH STUDENTS IN ATHLETICS !!!

    MONDAY, AUGUST 12th @ 6:30pm - MANDATORY ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS ATHLETICS MEETING in the West Lutheran High School Gym

    This is for any students who are planning to participate in a West Lutheran sport for Fall, Winter or Spring during the 24/25 school year. It is encouraged for ALL parents/guardians to be present at the meeting. Please contact Mr. Jensen (sjensen@westlutheran.net) via email if you are unable to attend the meeting.

    • Other Important Calendar Dates:

      • Weds August 7th School Photos 9th-12th grade 5:30-8pm

      • Weds August 7th New Student Orientation 6:30pm

        • Current Academic Calendar with full dates for the remainder of this summer and next school year.

        • The school academic calendar is also available to sync to your personal calendar through the school website www.wlhs.net and click on "School Calendar" There is a +GoogleCalendar icon on the bottom right hand side of the page, which if you click on will allow you to add to your personal calendar. As event details are added or updated, this will give you the most up to date access.

    Athletics

    • Girls Volleyball is having open gym practices on Tuesday evenings from 4-6pm. Anyone interested in playing volleyball this fall is welcome to attend. More practice times/dates may be added and will be communicated to the students by the team captains at practice.

    • All incoming freshmen or new upperclassmen: We would like to extend an invitation for anyone interested in joining cross country this fall. West Lutheran co-ops with Heritage Christian Academy. We welcome runners of all ability levels and would love to have you join us. For more information, please reach out to Coach Lydia (hattolyd@gmail.com) or West captain's Isaiah Boerner (isaiah.boerner@gmail.com) and Grace Hahm (hahmgrace1030@gmail.com). We would love to get you on the email list and connected with the team as captain's practices are starting and the season is quickly approaching.

    All fall athletics officially start on August 12th. If you have a student interested in playing a fall sport, please remember to sign up and register before that date. All sports physicals and registration is due before your athlete attends their first official practice. Sports Registration
